Who: Tiger Den Cub Scouts along with their parent or adult partner
What: This will cover Achievement 2G. I'm sure they have a map at the fire station, so if we get to look that over with our kids while we are there, this could cover 2F as well.
Fullerton's firefighters are shining up their fire engines and polishing their boots in preparation for welcoming the community to Fullerton Fire Headquarters Saturday, Oct. 5, for the 2013 Fire Prevention Week Open House. The open house festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. There will be a chili cook-off featuring free samples of "Fire House Chili" and special guest appearances by Smokey Bear. Several well know city organizations will be on hand to participate or provide demonstrations, including: St. Jude Medical Center, MG Disposal, members of the CERT Team, Police SWAT & Explorer’s and many more. Activities planned include tours of Fire Headquarters, firefighting demonstrations, fire apparatus displays, and activity booths for children.
