Action Items:
Please bring Tiger handbook, warm clothes/layers for the evening, jackets, blankets (for campfire), camp chairs, sleeping bags/pads, hats, beanies, sunscreen, mess kits, water bottles, personal toiletries, etc. and whatever you think you'll need to be comfortable. I always bring my own eco-friendly pump hand soap for our family and recommend that also.

There is a bathroom and a coin-operated hot shower.

If your family needs a tent, please let Paul Beasley pbeasley@aol.com know, as there are a limited number available.

Tiger den is responsible for planning and preparing breakfast Sunday morning. Since everyone will be packing up and eager to go, this is usually a quick, cold breakfast with an easy clean up. Please let me know your suggestions. Typically, they have hardboiled eggs, pre-packaged donuts, juice and coffee. I am also going to suggest instant oatmeal and bananas.

Advancement notes: During the camp we will also work on Achievement 5 Activities:
5F: Go outside and discuss the weather with a parent.
5G: Take a hike (already completed)

We will also work on our Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award. To earn this award, a Tiger scout must:
1. Attend Cub Scout day camp or Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camp.
2. Complete one requirement from Achievement 5, "let's go outdoors"
3. Complete 3 of several outdoor activities listed in the handbook, such as:
a. Attend pack overnighter and be responsible by being prepared for the event
b. Discuss buddy system and cooperation
c. Participate in an outdoor campfire, and perform skit or song
